Yes, Hanuman Bhakti is completely free to download and use. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or hidden fees. All content — Chalisa, Sunderkand, Aarti, and Bhajans — is available for free.
Yes. All text content (Chalisa, Sunderkand, Aarti lyrics) is bundled with the app and works completely offline. Audio files are also included in the app bundle, so you can listen without an internet connection.
The app supports background audio playback. If audio stops after locking your screen, please check:

iOS: Go to Settings → Hanuman Bhakti and ensure Background App Refresh is enabled.

Android: Go to Settings → Apps → Hanuman Bhakti → Battery and set to "Unrestricted". Also disable Battery Optimization for the app.
Try these steps in order:

1. Check your device volume and ensure it is not in silent mode.
2. Close the app completely and reopen it.
3. Restart your device.
4. Uninstall and reinstall the app.

iOS: Long-press the app icon on your home screen, tap "Remove App", then "Delete App".
Android: Long-press the app icon, tap "Uninstall" or go to Settings → Apps → Hanuman Bhakti → Uninstall.

Since we don't store any account or personal data, uninstalling the app removes all associated local data permanently.
